CRUSADERS DROP FIRST HOME GAME OF 2010 TO KING COLLEGE

Tigerville, SC—Cold shooting plagues the North Greenville women’s basketball team as they drop the first home contest of 2010 to King College 72-56.

The Lady Crusaders shot 32.8 percent from the field including 30.8 percent from the three point line. For the game, the Crusaders were 21 of 64 from the field and 4 of 13 from three. The Crusaders only turned the ball over 15 times in the 40 minute contest.
Christina Carlis was the leading for North Greenville with 10 points. Other leading scorers for the Lady Crusaders with Erin Gray with 9 and Jacquetta Golden who had 8 points. Leading rebounder for the Crusaders was Krisceda Cotton who collected 7 total rebounds. The loss puts the Crusaders at 4-9 for the season. The team will have a chance to break a three game losing streak on January 14 when they play the University of West Georgia in Carollton, Georgia at 7:30.
