LADY CRUSADERS HALT 3 GAME LOSING SKID WITH WIN OVER LIMESTONE

Tigerville, S.C.—Senior guard Nikki Wood scored 18 points to help lead the Lady Crusaders broke a three game losing by out lasting the Saints of Limestone 75-59.
North Greenville trailed for only 3 minutes in the 40 minute contest as limestone built a lead of four at the 13:57 mark in the first period.

 The Lady Crusaders tied the game at 10 and gained the lead at the 12:42 and would not look back. NGU took a 27-25 lead into halftime. NGU would build its biggest le.ad of 17 at the eight minute mark of the second period. The saints cut the lead to 12 with two minutes left however North Greenville would hit free throws down the stretch to win by 16. “This was a big win for us,” remarked head coach Jayne Arledge, “it was a big confidence booster for us going into the break.”Adding to Wood’s 18 points were Whitney Smith who registered a “double-double” adding 11 points and collecting 10 rebounds, Krisceda Cotton who registered 12 points, and Christina Carlis who added 11 points and collected 6 rebounds.
