LADY CRUSADERS DROP LAST EXHIBITION GAME TO USC UPSTATE

Spartanburg, S.C.—
Sophomore guard Karley Stache scored 11 points and went three for eight from beyond the 3 point arc as the Lady Crusaders drop their final preseason game of the year 78-47 to USC Upstate.

Stache was the leading scorer for the Crusaders followed closely by Krisceda Cotton with 10 points. The Spartans were lead by their senior guard Courtney Hawkins who scored 13 points and collected 10 rebounds to help Upstate down North Greenville.
The Spartans were the second division I team the Lady Crusaders have played this pre-season following the opener against North Carolina State. NGU will open up its regular season Tuesday night with a home game against Newberry College at 5:30pm.
