NGU WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SQUARES OFF AGAINST EMMANUEL AT NCCAA REGIONALS

The North Greenville women’s basketball team has been seeded 4th and will face off against #1 Emmanuel College of (Franklin Springs, GA) at the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association’s South Regional Championships to be held Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 16-17 at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Fla.
NGU and Emmanuel will square off at 8:00 p.m. Monday and #2 seed Tennessee Temple (17-9) and #3 seed and host Palm Beach Atlantic (8-15) will play at 6:00 p.m.  The championship game will be at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at The Rubin Arena on the PBA campus.
Coach Jayne Arledge’s Crusaders (13-13) have not played the Lady Lions this season or any of the other competitors in the tournament.  Emmanuel has a record of 16-6 overall.  The winner of the tournament will advance to the NCCAA National Championships March 12-14 at Grace College in Winona Lakes, Inc.
