Freshman guard Karly Stache tossed in 25 points, hitting 7-13 shots and 7-10 from three-point range, but it wasn’t enough to cool the torrid shooting of Lincoln Memorial as the Railsplitters downed North Greenville (9-10) 110-74 Wednesday night in Harrogate, Tenn.
LMU put seven players in double figures and hit a season-high 16 3-pointers en route to its seventh win of the season. The Railsplitters hit 59.7% of their shots from the floor and 50% of their shots outside the arc to break the game open early.Kara Harris led Lincoln Memorial with 22 points and Andi Winney added 19.
Other players in double figures for NGU were Nikki Wood who finished with 12, Whitney Smith had 11 and Mindy Greenstone added 10.
Next up for North Greenville is a road contest at Allen University in Columbia before they return home Tuesday, Feb. 3 for a 5:30 contest with Southern Wesleyan.
