NGU breaks the century mark; routs TTU 105-66
Eboni Davis scored a season-high 23 points

TIGERVILLE, SC--Six Crusaders scored in double-digits as North Greenville University routed Tennessee Temple University 105-66 Tuesday night in Hayes Gymnasium in the opening round of the NCCAA South Regional Tournament. NGU will move on to face Emmanuel College tomorrow night in the championship game. The winner will advance to the NCCAA National Tournament in Oakland City, IN.

NGU improves to 14-11 on the season, while TTU falls to 18-12.

North Greenville scored early and often, and never trailed in the game. NGU led 49-25 at halftime after shooting 60.6% in the opening period. TTU never cut the lead to less than 22 points in the second half.

With 2:28 remaining in the game, Jacquetta Golden drove just inside the paint on the right side and hit a jump shot to put NGU over 100 points for the first time this season.

Eboni Davis led North Greenville with a season-high 23 points and five rebounds. Mindy Greenstone scored 17 points off the bench, while Robin Warner and Amanda Milner each added 15 points. Warner also dished out six assists. Debbie Wyatt and Whitney Smith chipped in ten points apiece.

Elisa Hardy led Tennessee Temple with 20 points. Courtney Atkinson and Juanisha Hansford added 14 and ten points respectively.

Tip-off for tomorrow night's championship game versus Emmanuel is 7:00 p.m.
