TIGERVILLE, SCóLincoln Memorial University hit 15 three-pointers in a 77-64 victory over North Greenville University Wednesday night in Hayes Gymnasium. The Railsplitters improve to 10-8 on the season, while the Crusaders fall to 8-9.
Kara Harris proved to be the difference in the game for Lincoln Memorial. Harris shot 8 of 15 from behind the arc en route to scoring a game-high 26 points. Stephanie Wagner added 17 points for the Railsplitters, while Megan Davis chipped in 14 points and four assists.
Eboni Davis led the Crusaders with 15 points. Robin Warner and Amanda Milner each added ten points.
Lincoln Memorial held a 40-28 lead at halftime and led by as many as 22 late in the second half. North Greenville cut the lead to ten points several times, but could not get it any closer.
The Crusaders will be back in action Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. as they host Chowan University.
