TIGERVILLE, SC- Amanda Milner scored 19 points to lead North Greenville University past Brevard College 77-70 Tuesday night in NCAA Division II women's basketball action. The win improves the Crusaders to 15-10, while the Tornados fall to 7-19.
NGU shot 50 % in the first half to take a 36-30 lead into the locker room. In the second half, the Crusaders led by as many as 13 points on 43.8% shooting. However, the Tornados went on a 19-6 run over the last eight minutes to tie the game at 64-64 and force an overtime period. In the extra period, Samantha Frost led NGU with six points as the Crusaders out-scored the Tornados 13-6. Robin Warner added four points in overtime.
Milner scored her 19 points on 8-13 shooting and three free throws. Eboni Davis added 15 points for the Crusaders, while Debbie Wyatt and Frost chipped in 12 and ten points respectively.
Samantha Winn led all scorers with 24 points for BC. Holly Krogman scored 20 points.
North Greenville will be back in action Thursday night as they host Erskine College. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
