Lady Crusaders hold on for 74-65 win over Emmanuel

TIGERVILLE, SC- Robin Warner and Amanda Milner each scored 18 points as North Greenville University defeated Emmanuel College Tuesday night in Hayes Gymnasium. The Crusaders improve to 13-9 with the win, while the Lady Lions fall to 9-13.

Emmanuel took an early lead and kept it for the first seven minutes of the ballgame until Samantha Frost hit a layup to give the Crusaders their first lead. NGU never surrendered the lead the rest of the game. The largest lead of the game was 13. NGU led 37-31 at halftime.

In addition to her 18 points, Milner grabbed nine rebounds. Warner's 18 points included seven of eight from the free throw line. Debbie Wyatt added 12 points for the Crusaders, while Audrey Toscano chipped in with a game-high six assists.

Felecia Fowler led all scorers with 23 points for the Lady Lions. Shekela Bradley, Whitley Wright, and Reshunda Laster each scored ten points.

NGU will be back in action Thursday night at Converse College. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
