Lady Crusaders suffer first loss of the season at Tusculum

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Ashli Oliver scored a career-high 27 points on a
school record nine 3-pointers as Tusculum College defeated North
Greenville University 91-74 Tuesday night at Pioneer Arena. The Pioneers
(3-0) remain undefeated on the young season
, while the Crusaders (3-1)
suffered its first setback of the year.

Oliver shot 9-of-13 from the beyond the arc as she broke the previous
school mark of seven, she established last year.

TCís Brooke Underwood posted her third consecutive double-double with 14
points and 13 assists, while Kat Spears and Diana Neves added 16 and 11
points, respectively.

Oliverís performance overshadowed the perfect night by NGUís Eboni Davis.
Davis went 7-for-7 from the floor, including four 3-pointers and a pair
of free throws for her 20 points. Debbie Wyatt added 15 points, while
Audrey Toscanao and Robin Warner tallied 13 and 11 markers, respectively.

Tusculum shot 56 percent for the game, including 60 percent in the final
period.

North Greenville will be back in action next Tuesday as they travel to Belmont Abbey College for a 6:00 p.m. tip-off.
