A native of McCormick, South Carolina, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina in 2017, where he worked with football, men’s soccer, and baseball, including serving as a student athletic trainer for the Gamecocks’ Independence Bowl. He later gained experience as an Athletic Training intern with the Arizona Cardinals before obtaining his MBA from North Greenville University in 2018.

Anderson joined NGU in 2017 as a graduate assistant athletic trainer and transitioned into a full-time role. In Spring 2021, he was named Head Athletic Trainer, working primarily with the football program and playing a key role in navigating the challenges of COVID-19 in collegiate athletics. In June 2023, he was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine, where he leads the athletic training operations for NGU’s 20 intercollegiate sports and collaborates with Prisma Health Upstate to ensure top-tier medical care for student-athletes. Anderson values the strong team culture within his staff and takes pride in working alongside dedicated professionals. His goal is to create an environment where every athlete feels welcomed, supported, and cared for.

Outside of work, Anderson enjoys golfing and fishing. He lives in Greenville with his wife and two daughters.
