Emily Owani is in her eighth year of service at North Greenville University, currently serving as the Director of Community Engagement after being promoted to the role in July 2025.

Owani began her professional career at NGU in 2019 as the Assistant Director of the Crusader Club before being elevated to Director of the Crusader Club in 2021. During her time in that role, she played a key part in strengthening donor relations and advancing the mission of NGU athletics.

A former student-athlete, Owani competed for the NGU women’s soccer program for four years and graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. She went on to earn her Master of Business Administration from NGU in 2013 while completing a two-year graduate assistantship with the athletic department. During that time, she worked under then-Assistant Athletic Director Micah Sepko, assisting with day-to-day operations.

Emily resides in Duncan, South Carolina, with her husband, Vincent, and their three children: Olivia, Eli, and Nicole.
