Griffith makes her way to Tigerville by way of Concord University where she spent the previous two seasons as an graduate assistant coach for the Mountain Lions. While at Concord she also led the women's junior varsity basketball team while fulfilling her duties as the varsity assistant. She also helped with the Elite Hoops Basketball Camp sponsored by Nike in 2021.Â

She was a student-athlete at Milligan University for all four years of her playing career, where she was a three year starter for the Buffaloes. She graduated from Milligan in 2022 with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise science and a Minor in Coaching. She received her Masters in Health Promotions from Concord, graduating in the spring of 2024.Â

"Lily is energetic and wants to be a coach. She has a positive mindset that will serve our student athletes," says Head Coach Kelvin Long about hiring Griffith as his newest assistant. "Lily is a welcomed addition to our program and culture."
