Tigerville – North Greenville Athletics will celebrate 3.5 decades of softball in Tigerville with a 35-year reunion scheduled for March 14, 2020, at Jan McDonald Field.
The gathering is open to all past North Greenville softball players dating back to the 1985-season through last year’s 2019 team and will be a time of celebration as well a time of fellowship. During this time, athletic director and former NGU softball coach Jan McDonald will honor each conference championship team, the 2011 NCCAA National Championship team, as well as that participated in regional tournaments, and national tournament teams.
Former players will also be afforded the opportunity to cheer on the current group of North Greenville softball players as they take on King University in a Conference Carolinas doubleheader with the first pitching coming at 1 PM.
Once again, the 35-year reunion is scheduled for Saturday, March 14th with a make-up date reserved for March 28th in the event of inclement weather. Anyone interested in attending the 35-year softball reunion should RSVP as soon as possible. The contact info to do so is listed below.
The athletic department will also sponsor a reunion cookout with hamburgers and hotdogs! Please RSVP with the number of guests that will be joining the celebration!
