Offense leads Crusaders to split with Panthers

Tigerville, S.C. - North Greenville bounced back from a 3 - 1 loss in game one to split with Claflin, taking the second game 17 - 1.

The Basics

How it Happened (Game One)

  • The Panthers scratched the first run in the first inning on an RBI double from Norman that scored Lee from second base.
  • Clafflin added a pair in the fifth inning on an RBI single and another with the help of a throwing error by the Crusaders.
  • Jaelin Griffin added a run for the Crusaders in the sixth inning on a solo home run but the Crusaders went down in order in their final two at-bats to end the game.

  • The Crusaders were 1 -4 with runners in scoring position in game one and finished with six hits.

How it Happened Game Two
