Lee and Roach headline softball All-Conference Nods

Burlington, N.C. – Kate Lee earned Conference Carolinas First Team All-Conference Honors while Morgan Roach earned a Second Team nod as announced by the league on Thursday night at a post-season banquet.

Lee made an immediate impact as a Freshman, leading the team in six difference offensive categories. Kate Lee, the freshman from Lexintgon, South Carolina batted .357 on the season, and knocked in 32-RBI on 51 hits. Lee also had 21-doubles on the season and five home runs. She also led the Crusaders with 31 runs scored.

Morgan Roach earned Second Team All-Conference after a solid junior campaign. The catcher from North Carolina batted .281 on the season and scored eight runs. She had 18 hits including two home runs with seven RBI.

The Crusaders will play in the second round of the Conference Carolinas tournament on Friday afternoon at 12pm against King University.
