Tigerville, S.C.—The post season honors continue to roll in for the NGU softball team, as three other Crusaders have been given All-Conference and All-Region honors.

Sophomore Jordan Farmer was honored by Conference Carolinas coaches for her solid performance at the conference tournament two weeks ago. In her two games at the tournament, Jordan Farmer was 4-5 at the plate with a pair of walks and an RBI. Farmer finished the season third on the Crusaders team with a .323 average, pounding out 42 hits, including five homeruns, four doubles and a triple. She also accounted for 26 RBI and 22 runs scored.

Also finding themselves on another post season awards list was senior Rachel Glazebrook, and junior Sarah Armstrong as the two were named National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association [NCCAA] All-Region players.

Rachel Glazebrook was the NGU leader both at the plate and on the mound during the 2014 campaign. Glazebrook boasted a 1.44 earned run average this season, allowing just 38 earned runs all season. Glazebrook gave up less than a hit per inning during the season, and was second in Conference Carolinas with 258 strikeouts. She also led the Crusaders during 2014 at the dish, claiming a .372 average with four homeruns, and a team leading 31 RBI.

Also earning post season honors from the NCCAA is center fielder Sarah Armstrong. Armstrong was second on the NGU softball team in 2014, with a .329 batting average, spending much of the season as the leadoff batter for the Crusaders. She led North Greenville with 51 hits from the one hole, including a team leading four triples, and 34 runs scored. She also hit a homerun, and accounted for 14 RBI.

The Crusaders finished the season 29-17 overall and 11-5 in league play.
