On offense, the Lady Crusaders scored eight runs on just six hits, as Shaw’s pitching staff allowed eight walks to North Greenville batters. Kansas Wofford led the offense as she finished the game 1-for-3 with three RBI and one run scored. Wofford hit her fourth home run of the season in the second inning. Sarah Griffith, Karli Taylor and Coutney Campbell finished the game with one RBI apiece.

The Lady Crusaders got another strong pitching performance in game two, this time from starter Laura Hopper. Hopper (2-3) pitched a complete game, allowing no runs on two hits while recording four strikeouts.
