LADY CRUSADERS DROP TWO TO LIMESTONE

Game Two Box
Gaffney, S.C.—The North Greenville Softball Team (20-17) dropped both games of a double header today losing to Limestone College 3-1 in the first game and 9-1 in game two.

Taylor Roof pitched game one for NGU. Roof pitched six innings giving up three runs on three hits. She registered eight strikeouts and allowed 6 walks.
The Crusaders struggled offensively registering one run on one hit. Courtney Campbell led the team going 1-2 with a home run which accounted for the teams only run and RBI.
The day would not get any easier for North Greenville in game two. While the Lady Crusaders registered five hits they were only able to plate one run. Shealy Broome led the team going 2-2 for the game. Kimberly Robertson was 1-1 and scored the teams only run.
Starting on the mound for NGU in game two was Laura Hopper. Hopper pitched two innings giving up three runs on seven hits. Kimberly Robertson was brought in relief. She pitched three innings giving up six runs on six hits.
The Crusaders will be back in action April 13th taking on Piedmont College in a double hears. The first pitch is scheduled for 2pm.
