Softball loses one, ties one at Erskine
Holly Lester hit 2 home runs

TIGERVILLE, SC- North Greenville lost the first game of a doubleheader at Erskine, but tied the second game. The Flying Fleet took Game One 5-4, while the score of Game Two was 5-5.

In Game One, Lindsey Eargle scored on a Casey Smith sacrifice fly to leftfield to open up the scoring. Then in the third inning, Laura McMahan scored on a Holly Lester fly out. The last two Crusader runs came in the fifth inning when Lester hit a two-run homer.

In Game Two, North Greenville took and early three run lead in the first inning when Lester hit her second home run of the day, this one a three-run shot. The Crusaders scored two more in the third inning. Lester doubled in Bridgett Watson, and then Emily Queen singled home Jordan Brock.

North Greenville will be back in action Thursday as they play host to Presbyterian College. The first pitch is to be thrown at 2:00 p.m.
