TIGERVILLE, S.C. — North Greenville University Athletics is proud to announce its 2026 Athletic Hall of Fame class, honoring six individuals whose accomplishments, leadership and impact have left a lasting mark on Trailblazer Athletics.
 
The 2026 class includes Kait Bernardi (Women's Volleyball), Alex Proly (Men's Lacrosse), Matthew Rollins (Baseball), Jordan Richmond (Men's Basketball), PJ Schumacher (Men's Basketball) and Willy Korn (Football).
 
The class represents multiple eras of NGU Athletics and includes student-athletes who helped elevate their respective programs during significant periods in NGU history.
 
Kaitlyn Bernardi — Women's Volleyball
 Bernardi was a standout two-sport student-athlete at NGU, earning all-conference honors in volleyball while establishing then-school career records with 289 blocks and 1,067 kills. She also competed in track and field, earning all-conference recognition and Field MVP honors in the high jump.
 
Alex Proly — Men's Lacrosse
 One of the most accomplished players in NGU men's lacrosse history, Proly remains among the program's all-time leaders in nearly every major offensive category. He ranks first in career assists, second in career points and third in career goals, while also holding the program record for assists per game. He is the first player in the program's short history to be inducted in to the athletic hall of fame. 
 
Matthew Rollins — Baseball
 Rollins was one of the most productive offensive players of his era for NGU baseball, finishing his career with more than 250 hits and 35 home runs. His 2002 season, which included 80 hits and a batting average above .400, remains one of the outstanding individual offensive seasons in program history.
 
Jordan Richmond — Men's Basketball
One of Coach Chad Lister's first two signees at NGU, Richmond played an important role in helping build the men's basketball program during its transition toward NCAA Division II competition. He finished his career among NGU's top 10 all-time scorers at the time with 1,027 career points.
 
PJ Schumacher — Men's Basketball
Schumacher joined Richmond as one of the foundational signees in the rebuilding of NGU men's basketball under Coach Chad Lister. He scored 1,264 career points and helped establish the foundation for the program's sustained improvement during its transition to NCAA Division II. Schumacher passed away in 2022 and will be inducted posthumously.
 
Willy Korn — Football
Korn earned All-America honors during a remarkable two-year career at NGU, helping lead the Crusaders to an 11-3 record and the NCAA Division II quarterfinals in 2011. He finished his NGU career with an 18-4 record as a starter, 4,058 passing yards and 45 passing touchdowns while adding 944 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground.
 
The 2026 Hall of Fame class reflects the championship tradition and transformational impact of North Greenville Athletics. Collectively, the six inductees helped establish new standards of excellence within their programs while representing NGU through their performance, leadership and character.
 
The 2026 class will officially be inducted on Octber 31st at a ceremony in Hayes Ministry Center.
