Gastonia, NC - The North Greenville Trailblazers began their postseason with a walk-off victory against the Braves of UNC Pembroke in the Conference Carolinas Tournament. NGU would lead for the majority of the game until UNCP tied things up in the 7th. However, North Greenville would score the winning run to end the game in the 9th.
Matty Brown took the mound to start the game. UNCP would get on the board first by way of a sacrifice fly in the top of the 1st inning. NGU would quickly respond when
Gideon Antle hit an RBI single. The TraIlblazers would then take the lead in the 2nd with a solo shot by
Landon Peavy to left field. Pitching would take over as the next four innings would go scoreless for both teams. The Braves put an end to the scoreless streak with an RBI single in the 7th. However, with a runner on third in the bottom of the 9th,
Alton Gyselman ended things with a walk-off RBI single to score
