Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers found themselves with a comfortable lead late in the second half, but ultimately fell to the Mount Olive Trojans with a final score of 84-80 at Hayes Gymnasium. After going into halftime with a one point lead, the Trailblazers were able to build a double-digit lead in the second half, leading by ten with less than five minutes remaining. However, an eight point run by Mount Olive cut the deficit down to two. Momentum would continue to be on Mount Olive's side as they would end the afternoon with a 7-1 run to escape Tigerville with a four point victory. North Greenville struggled from three point range, making just one of eleven shots. However, NGU did put together a solid day from the field, finishing with a .582 field goal percentage. The Trailblazers led with fifty points in the paint.
