Box Score Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders put together a double-digit victory earlier this evening at Hayes Gymnasium, defeating the Warriors of Southern Wesleyan University with a final score of 79-68. Things began with a competitive 1st quarter that ended with the Warriors leading by two. However, NGU would take over in the 2nd quarter, leading by seven at halftime. Although SWU outscored North Greenville by a point in the 3rd quarter, the Crusaders added to their lead in the 4th, ultimately securing the win by eleven points. North Greenville had a solid night of shooting overall, posting a .410 percentage from the field. NGU also finished with a nearly identical percentage from three point territory, posting a .400 percentage.

Geassy Germano neared a double-double, finishing with 17 points and 9 rebounds. She also posted 2 steals, a block, and an assist. Abi Oates made 5 three pointers for a total of 15 points while also providing 2 rebounds, an assist, and a steal. Tabitha Littlefield finished with 12 points and 4 rebounds.

NGU will return to action on Saturday, February 10th against the Valkyries of Converse University at Hayes Gymnasium.
