The North Greenville Trailblazers had a tough day on the road in Milledgeville, Georgia as they fell to the Bobcats of Georgia College & State University with a final score of 76-40. The struggles began early when NGU made just two of fifteen shots in the first quarter to trail 12-6 heading to the second quarter. Although North Greenville improved offensively in the second, the Bobcats did as well, outscoring the Trailblazers 22-13 to take a 34-19 at halftime. Momentum continued to go to GCSU in the third as they pulled away further to outscore NGU 26-8 in the third quarter, where North Greenville made its only three point shot of the game. The fourth quarter proved to by the most competitive, but GCSU would easily hang on for a one-sided victory. NGU finished the day shooting just 23.2% from the field.
Abi Oates scored nine points and also collected three rebounds and a steal.
Amaijah Smith also posted nine points along with three rebounds and two steals.
Mia Wysong finished with seven points, two assists, and a steal.
NGU will return to action on Tuesday, November 26th against the Flying Fleet of Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina.
