The North Greenville Crusaders are still in search of their first win of the season after falling in five sets to the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial University with a final score of 3-2 in Harrogate, Tennessee. NGU took the opening set but dropped the next two to trail 2-1. However, they would then bounce back by taking set four to force a fifth set. The Crusaders led by as much as two, but LMU would reclaim the lead and pull away late to win the final set. Although North Greenville did lead in total kills and assists, they trailed in attack percentage as well as aces, blocks, and digs.
Logan Keothavy led NGU with 17 kills and also provided 2 digs.
Michael de la Cruz finished his day with 12 kills, a service ace, a solo block, and a dig.
Diego Rosich posted 11 kills, 8 digs, 2 solo blocks, and an assist.
NGU will return to action on Tuesday, January 23rd against the Pioneers of Tusculum University in Tusculum, Tennessee.
