Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders are moving on to the quarterfinals of the Conference Carolinas Tournament after defeating the Hawks of Chowan University with a score of 2-0 this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium. North Greenville scored within the first two minutes when
Aleisha Lamb was able to get NGU on the board with assists by
Isabella Gyurich and
Marli Cevallos. Around two minutes later, a free kick by Elainee Sprinkly would end up finding the back of the net to put the Crusaders up 2-0 very early on. That score would go on to become the final score as North Greenville was able to keep Chowan off the board to complete the shutout. North Greenville finished with a total of fifteen shots with five on goal. The Hawks posted eleven shots with six on goal.
