NGU Remains Undefeated in Conference Play with Dominant Win Over Erskine

The North Greenville Crusaders came out of Due West, South Carolina with a 5-0 win thanks to a dominating second half against the Erskine Flying Fleet. North Greenville posted nine shots while the Flying Fleet recorded three of their own, but the two teams would go into halftime scoreless. However, the Crusaders would play a nearly perfect second half as five of NGU's seven shots resulted in goals. With the win, North Greenville improved to 6-3-0 overall with an 5-0-0 record in conference play.

After a scoreless first half, NGU was able to get on the board just over five minutes into the second half with a goal by Miranda Moorhouse with an assist by Krysa Gordon. About three minutes later, Isabella Gyurich added to the lead with assists by Krysa Gordon and Miranda Moorhouse. NGU added to the lead in the 63rd minute with a goal by Krysa Gordon, her first of the year, with an assist by Abigail Shultz. Aleisha Lamb added a fourth goal in the 70th minute. The scoring was capped off in the 85th minute by Italia Holiday with an assist by Hannah Sullenger.

Isabella Gyurich finished with a goal and 3 total shots while playing all 90 minutes. Aleisha Lamb posted similar stats in 60 minutes played. Miranda Moorhouse, Italia Holiday, and Krysa Gordon each scored a goal as well.

NGU returns to action on Saturday, October 7th at Pepsi Stadium against the Southern Wesleyan Warriors.
