The North Greenville Crusaders came out on top in a 1-0 victory over the Belmont Abbey Crusaders in Belmont, North Carolina. In the 29th minute of the 1st half, graduate student Dani Avelar would score her first goal as a Crusader with an assist by Isabella Gyurich. After Samantha Montgomery came through with four saves in the first half, she would need just one in the second to keep Belmont Abbey off the scoreboard. NGU would go on to lead both halves in total shots and led the match 15-11 while also leading in shots on goal 8-5.
