First Half Struggles Lead to Loss Against North Georgia

North Greenville fell behind in the first half and were unable to catch up to the Nighthawks of North Georgia, ending the match with a 4-1 loss in Dahlonega, Georgia. The Crusaders trailed 3-0 within the first twenty minutes of the match, and an additional goal would put NGU down 4-0 going into halftime. North Greenville would score the lone goal in the second half, an unassisted goal by Alexah Fite in the 60th minute. The Crusaders finished the night with a total of thirteen shots with five on goal while the Nighthawks put ten of their twenty-two shots on goal. After recording just one save in the first half, Samantha Montgomery would put together a much more successful second half with five saves.
