Gameday Central: North Greenville Takes on Defending National Champions in Opening Round of NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship Tournament

Los Angeles, CA - After Sunday's stunner against the Tigers of Princeton University, the North Greenville Crusaders will take on the defending national champion, the Rainbow Warriors of the University of Hawaii tonight at Pauley Pavilion in what is expected to be a large crowd that will include the University of Hawaii pep band.

North Greenville became an automatic qualifier for the tournament after winning the Conference Carolinas Tournament as the #1 overall seed with a semifinal win over Emmanuel College and a championship victory over the University of Mount Olive. Hawaii received an automatic qualifier in similar fashion, winning the Big West Championship by beating UC Santa Barbara in the semifinals and Long Beach State in the finals. The Rainbow Warriors hold a 24-5 overall record and a six-match winning streak. Their roster includes four AVCA All-Americans.

Hawaii enters the match well-rested as tonight's match will be the program's first since the Big West Championship on April 23rd.

Tonight's match will be streamed live on the Pac-12 Network while live stats will be provided on NCAA.com. The match is scheduled to begin at approximately 10:35 PM ET. You can follow the action using the links below.
