The North Greenville Crusaders ended up on the wrong side of a 1-0 contest against the Nighthawks of the University of North Georgia at Pepsi Stadium. After a one-sided first half in terms of shots, NGU would match the Nighthawks in second half shots but would be unable to score the equalizer. With the loss, the Crusaders, currently ranked 9th in the Southeast Region, hold a record of 1-2-2.

- A rather one-sided first half results in twelve shots for the Nighthawks while the Crusaders were limited to just two with one of them on goal. North Georgia would take the lead in the 25th minute with an unassisted goal. NGU would take the last shot of the half but would go into halftime down by one.
- In the second half, North Greenville improved offensively while also tightening up the defense. Both teams would record five shots for the half. Goalkeeper Lizzy Luzzi would provide several impressive diving saves to keep the deficit down to one. Although NGU would record two shots on goal for the half, neither would find the back of the net.
