Box Score Tigerville, SC - North Greenville came up victorious over the Valkyries of Converse College this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium with a score of 3-1. The Crusaders out-shot the Valkyries 28-4, and held Converse not only scoreless in the 1st half, but shotless as well.

- The Crusaders would get on the board rather quickly when Megan Biehl found the back of the net in the 8th minute with an assist by Mackenzie Neff. NGU would spend the rest of the half recording 13 shots while the defense prevented the Valkyries from getting a single shot off.
- North Greenville would also start off the 2nd half on a strong note as Faith Knoedler scored a goal just eight minutes in. She would go on to score again in the 79th minute. Although Converse did get four shots off the half, the NGU defense proved to be effective as the Valkyries would be kept off the scoreboard.
