Tigerville, SC - North Greenville made quick work of the Limestone Saints, taking a 3-0 victory tonight at Hayes Gymnasium. However, the night belonged to
Jackson Gilbert, who reached a major milestone with his 1000th career kill. Jackson went into the match needing six kills, and after posting just one kill in the opening set, he would get going in set two to reach the accomplishment. Gilbert is the first ever Crusader to reach the feat. He and
Diego Rosich led the night in kills with twelve each.

Recap
- The Crusaders got off to a good start to begin the game, taking a 5-1 lead to start things off. Limestone responded with a 4-1 run, but from there NGU would run away with things. Leading 14-12, NGU would end any doubt with a 7-2 run including service aces by Jackson Gilbert and Sergio Carrillo. A 5-1 run by North Greenville to end the set would be capped by Jackson Gilbert's first kill of the night to get NGU the set with a score of 25-16.
- Limestone would begin with the momentum in set two, getting it started with a 5-2 run. However, the Crusaders would quickly fight back with a 5-1 run that included two kills by Jackson Gilbert. The set would remain competitive throughout, but Jackson Gilbert would put a momentary stop in the action by posting his sixth kill of the night to reach the 1000 kill mark. Limestone would score the next four points to lead 23-20, but the Crusaders would end up scoring six of the final seven points to narrowly win the second set 26-24.
- Set three saw NGU jump out to an 8-3 lead. Limestone would remain within striking distance, but the Crusaders would continue to hold a manageable lead. Both teams would post high attack percentages, but NGU would ultimately take the final set with a score of 25-19.

- Jackson Gilbert reached the 1000 career kill mark. He went on to record 12 kills, 5 service aces, and 4 blocks.
- Diego Rosich also recorded 12 kills. He provided 5 digs, 3 service aces, and 2 blocks.
- Brandon Baker had a solid night, posting 8 kills and a .727 attack percentage.
