After a jumpshot by Jayda Glass to give the Crusaders a 5-4 lead, just eight more points would be scored between the two teams for the remainder of the quarter, with LMC taking a 9-8 lead at the end of the 1st quarter.
  • Lees-McRae would hold a narrow lead for the first half of the 2nd quarter, but a jumper by Kira Bell tied the game up at 13-13. The two teams would trade the lead several times before the Bobcats ended the half on a 7-2 run to take a 24-21 lead into halftime.
  • After a basket by LMC to open up the 2nd half, NGU would score six straight to tie things up once again. The two teams would remain deadlocked for most of the quarter, but Lees-McRae once again ended the quarter with the momentum, scoring nine straight points to lead 41-34 at the end of the 3rd.
  • Journey Muhammad kept the Crusaders in the game early on with two straight three pointers. Down by four, Muhammad would come through with yet another three pointer to cut the deficit to one point. With 27 seconds remaining in the game, Haylee Luttrell would come through with a clutch three pointer to give North Greenville its first lead since late in the 2nd quarter. Lees-McRae would get two possessions to work with, but the NGU defense kept the Bobcats off the board, securing the victory.
