North Greenville increased its winning streak to three games by defeating the Lions of Emmanuel College in overtime with a final score of 67-63 in Franklin Springs, Georgia. Both teams struggled to start the game, resulting in a low-scoring first quarter. However, after the Lions scored three to open up the second quarter, the Crusaders responded with fourteen consecutive points to lead by double digits. After an even third quarter, Emmanuel was able to close the gap in the fourth, ultimately forcing overtime. Four lead changes occurred in the overtime period, but NGU would have the final one to hang on for the victory thanks to a 62.5 field goal percentage for the period.
