After a scoreless first half, a busy second half led to a 2-2 draw with the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive this afternoon in Mount Olive, North Carolina. The Crusaders scored both goals early on in the second half, but Mount Olive would score two goals of their own later in the half to require overtime. Only three shots would be recorded between the two teams in overtime, resulting in the draw.

- Early in the opening half, Faith Knoedler would be the first for either team to enter the shot column. The Crusaders would go on to lead the half in shots 5-4, but the half would come to a close with the two teams remaining scoreless.Â
- Less than three minutes into the second half, NGU would be the first to get on the board when Faith Knoedler scored a goal with an assist by Megan Biehl. Shortly after, a foul results in a penalty kick goal by Shelby Shepherd to extend the NGU lead to two. Things were smooth sailing for North Greenville until the 70th minute, when Mount Olive was able to get on the board to cut the deficit to one. Seven minutes later, the Trojans found the back of the net again to tie things up at 2-2. Emma Shearer posted a final shot in regulation, but a save kept the match tied, and the two teams would head into overtime.
- The two overtime periods would prove to be uneventful ones as the two teams would combine for just three shots with two of them on goal, resulting in a 2-2 tie, North Greenville's third draw of the season.
