North Greenville Dominates Day Against King

The North Greenville Crusaders put together a dominant performance with a 3-0 victory against the Tornado of King University this afternoon in Bristol, Tennessee. The Crusaders had a busy day on offense, posting a total of nineteen shots with ten of them on goal. King was limited with just three shots and none of them on goal.

Recap
  • It didn't take long for the NGU offense to get to work, with the first shot of the match coming from Sarah Hazelwood. The Crusaders would put up six shots in the first twenty minutes. In the 35th minute, a red card was charged to the Tornado which would force them to play with just ten players for the remainder of the match. Although the Crusaders posted ten shots in the half, the score would remain scoreless at halftime.
  • The Crusaders continued to be aggressive in the second half, and would get on the board in the 55th minute with a goal by Emma Shearer and an assist by Sarah Hazelwood. Just four minutes later, Megan Biehl would add to the lead. Biehl went on to score again in the 76th minute.
