The North Greenville Athletics family comes together to mourn the loss of volleyball standout and recent graduate
Emma Pepper who passed away earlier this week. She was 22 years old.
Pepper, known for her smile and laughter, is a native of Easley, South Carolina and began her playing career at North Greenville in 2016. She played all four years before graduating in 2020 with a degree in Business Administration from NGU.
Emma was also involved in the community, coaching the sport she loved for the Excel Club Volleyball team. She is survived by her parents, brother, Adam Pepper; two grandmothers, Helen Albertson and Thelma Pepper; three uncles, Phil Albertson (Beth), Mark Albertson (Mary Joe), and John Albertson; an aunt, Margie Vest; and eight cousins, Josh (Hannah), Jacob, Gabriel, Hannah, Chloe, Katelyn, Brantley (Logan) and their daughter, Rollins, Leigh and her daughter, Bella.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Rock Springs Baptist Church where she was a member.
