Tigerville, SC - NGU cruised to a 76-64 victory over the Royals of Regent University at Hayes Gymnasium. The Crusaders outscored the Royals 40-24 in the first half and played even with Regent in the second half to secure the win. Jalon Cokley had a productive game with 19 points and 7 rebounds.

The Crusaders got off to a strong start by scoring the first seven points of the game. NGU would lead by as much as twenty before RU scored the final four points of the half to make the score 40-24 in favor of the Crusaders at halftime.

Another strong start to the second half by North Greenville resulted in its largest lead of the game, leading by 27 with nine minutes remaining in the game. Regent would put up a fight to close the gap, finishing the game on a 10-2 run cut the final deficit to twelve points.

NGU will return to conference play on Wednesday, February 5th against the Lees-McRae Bobcats in Tigerville.
