North Greenville put together a record-breaking performance in a historical 9-0 victory over the Flying Fleet of Erskine College. The nine goals scored is the most in the history of the program. Megan Biehl scored a third of the goals while the rest were shared between Karly Denaburg, Kayla Cruse, Ariana Parsons, Abby Robinson, Mackenzie Neff, and Victoria Valentine.

The match was not scoreless for very long as the Crusaders would get on the board just under two minutes into the match when Kayla Cruse scored a goal from inside the box. Just over ten minutes later, Ariana Parsons would add to the NGU lead with a goal from the far left wing to put North Greenville up 2-0. A header by Karly Denaburg found the back of the net to extend the Crusader lead. With just under twenty minutes remaining, Abby Robinson would score off a header of her own to go up by four goals. With just under ten minutes remaining, a fifth goal would go up on the board when Megan Biehl recorded her first goal of the game. Less than two minutes later, Biehl would score again to close out the half with the Crusaders leading 6-0.

NGU would come out aggressive to begin the second half, quickly putting up four shots within the first seven minutes. Around twenty minutes into the half, North Greenville's Victoria Valentine put up two consecutive shots with the second resulting in a goal. With just under twenty minutes remaining, Biehl would score her third goal of the match from the top of the box. Mackenzie Neff would put the ninth and final goal on the board with just under 18 minutes remaining. With the clock hitting all zeros, the Crusaders would record their first conference win of the year in historic fashion.

North Greenville will head to Milledgeville, Georgia to face the Bobcats of Georgia College on Wednesday, September 18th.
