Tigerville, S.C. – North Greenville’s Matthew McManaway was voted All-Conference Carolinas Second Team on Friday afternoon by league coaches.
McManway, a junior from Ohio was NGU’s biggest offensive threat this season with 255-kills and a .314 hitting percentage, ranking him eighth in the league. McManaway was also a force on defense, totaling 30 solo blocks and 57 assisted stops. His 1-block per set average was third best in the Conference while his 85-total blocks ranked him second in the league.
The big hitter for NGU also dished out 28-aces from the service line.
