Crusaders downed by Limestone

Gaffney, S.C. – North Greenville men’s volleyball fell to Limestone College on Wednesday night 3-1 in Conference Carolinas action.

The Crusaders earned the set one victory with a 25-19 decision. NGU knocked down 13-kills during the set compared to just four errors. The Saints responded with wins of 25-23, 25-19, and 25-18 to down North Greenville.

Ben Hamsho led the team with 11-kills while Matthew McManaway delivered 10. Alexander Schinzing had a solid night from the setter position with 38-assists. McManaway added five service aces.

Defensively, Hamsho and McManaway led with three assisted blocks while Dustin King and Schinzing had 11-digs.

North Greenville fell to 7-15 overall and 6-8 in Conference Carolinas play. The Crusaders will take on Belmont Abbey on April 1st at 7pm in Belmont, North Carolina.
