Belmont, N.C. - North Greenville men's volleyball dropped a conference matchup to Belmont Abbey on Saturday night, 3-0, in North Carolina.
The Crusaders fell behind early as BAC took wins of 25-15 and 25-17 in the first two frames. The Crusaders struggled offensively, hitting just .080 in the first set, and .067 in the second frame.
The struggles continued in the third set for NGU as the team had its worst offensive showing of the night. The Crusaders dropped a 25-16 decision, and converted just nine kills on 27 attempts. The Crusaders also committed 10 attack errors during the third frame.
Matthew McManaway led North Greenville with nine kills while Jon Childes finished with eight. Alexander Schinzing dished out 24 assists while Dustin King finished with six digs.
North Greenville will be back in action on February 23rd in Bristol, Tennessee. First serve between the Crusaders and Tornado is scheduled for 7pm.
