Tigerville, S.C. - North Greenville Volleyball extended its win-streak to three games on Thursday night with a 3-0 sweep of Saint Andrews.
The Crusaders set the tone early with a 25-11 blowout in the first frame. NGU hit .440 as a team. The Crusaders would add another dominating win in the third set as they earned the 25-12 win and a 2-0 lead over the Knights. The Knights made things a little more interesting in the third set but North Greenville prevailed in the end with a 25-18 decision.
North Greenville never trailed on Thursday night, putting together one of the best offensive performances of the season. The Crusaders hit at a .403 clip for the entire game, including .429 percentage in the second set.
NGU finished the night with 46 kills spread out between nine players. Aaron Campbell led all scorers with 11-kills, a career high for the freshman. Luuga Vailu'u accounted for eight kills while Caleb Arelus knocked down five. Alexander Schinzing led the Crusaders with 22 assists while Grayson Lawrence dished out 13, a career high for him.
North Greenville will travel to Belmont, North Carolina to take on Belmont Abbey on Saturday. The game between NGU and BAC is scheduled for a 7pm first serve.
