Tigerville, S.C.—NGU Men's volleyball extended its winning streak to four games Friday night, after a 3-0 win over Bluefield College.
NGU didn't leave much doubt about which team had the muscle on Friday night, as the Rams never reached the 20 point mark. NGU took sets with scores of 25-18, 25-16, and 25-17, en route to the non-conference win over the visiting team from Virginia.
Connor Rhine led all scorers on Friday night with nine kills on 19 attempts while Robbie McCoy racked up seven. Alexander Schinzing dished out 26 assists while McCoy also led NGU with eight digs on defense.
The Crusaders improved to 7-8 on the season after the win over Bluefield, and will host Mount Olive on February 27th in Hayes Gymnasium. The Crusaders and Trojans will serve it up at 7pm in Tigerville.
