Five Crusaders competed at the UMO First Chance Invitational in Mount Olive, North Carolina over the weekend. Three personal bests were set at the meet while Jackson Junkins scored a top ten finish in the 200 Meter Dash event.
Jackson Junkins set a personal best in the 200 Meter Dash with a 10th place finish and a time of 21.78 seconds. He also participated in the 400 Meter Dash, finishing 16th with a time of 48.73 seconds.
Eli Buckley placed 13th in the 100 Meter Dash, recording a time of 10.83 seconds.
Raoul Hunt finished 18th with a time of 23.40 seconds in the 200 Meter Dash, a personal best. He also ran in the 400 Meter Dash and posted a time of 52.75 seconds.
Preston Pierce recorded a 19th place finish in the 100 Meter Dash, setting a time of 10.98 seconds.
Jordan Meekins set a personal best with an 11th place finish in the 100 Meter Dash and a time of 11.01 seconds.
NGU will wrap up the 2019 season at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in Kingsville, Texas.
