Central, SC - North Greenville had a strong showing at the 2018 Conference Carolinas Outdoor Championships with a third place overall finish.

How it Happened

  • Adrian McGee had quite a day with a third place finish in long jump with 6.86m, and impressed with a 1.89m mark in high jump, which was good for second place.
  • Naseem Robinson had a solid meet, finishing fourth in long jump with a 6.59m mark. He also finished fifth in the 100 meter finals.
  • Eli Buckley, who has battled injuries throughout the season, was able to make the 100 meter finals and finished sixth.
  • JJ Sherman placed first in 100 meters with a time of 10.50 seconds. Right behind him was Harold Hilton, who placed a second-place time of 10.76 seconds. Naseem Robinson and Eli Buckley also placed in the 100 meter finals.
  • Sherman also placed first in 200 meters with a time of 21.69 seconds. Tevin Richardson placed third with 21.84 seconds. Jordan Walters also placed in the finals.
  • The 4x100 meter relay resulted in a first place for North Greenville. JJ Sherman, Harold Hilton, Naseem Robinson, and Tevin Richardson posted a time of 41.42 seconds.
  • Tevin Richardson placed second in the 400 meter finals. He missed first place by .4 seconds.
  • Austin Nobles finished seventh in a tough 10,000 meters with a time of 34:47.45.

  • North Greenville will head to Knoxville, TN to compete in the Tennessee Challenge.
