Richardson named Conference Carolinas Track Athlete of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – North Greenville University's Tevin Richardson and King University's Vincent Okot have been named the Conference Carolinas Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, for meets held Apr. 10-16, the Conference announced today.

A freshman from Calhoun Falls, S.C. Richardson had quite the showing at the Beynon Sports Catamount Classic hosted by Western Carolina University. Richardson would notch a runner-up finish in the 200 meter with a time of 21.46 seconds, which was top collegiate time, as he only finished behind former Olympian Manteo Mitchell.
