Sherman earns All-American honors from USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – All-America honorees for the NCAA Division II indoor track and field season were recognized Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Student-athletes earned USTFCCCA All-America honors by virtue of finishing among the top eight in their events, including as a member of a relay, at this past weekend’s NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala.

Conference Carolinas had six individuals receive All-America honors, with five schools being represented. See all of the full list of honorees here: Full USTFCCCA Release

Sherman wrapped up the indoor track season with a fourth place finish in the NCAA Division II Championship race. He is the first NGU track athlete to earn a spot in the finals of an NCAA championship. He finished the 60-meter race with a time of 6.77-seconds.
